Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
we ask that you keep us in your prayers

We are Christ-centered, moving ONWARD into the future
and OUTWARD into the community
During the last year the PNC has covered a lot of ground. Creating our MIF, combing through PIF's, watching and listening to sermons, conducting Skype interviews & holding reference check meetings.
Despite some of our challenges the PNC considers ourselves very prayerful, hopeful & still very much dedicated to working together for the common goal of finding the person God is calling to WHPC. Perhaps as one PNC member puts it best, we are moving at God's pace.
An update from your PNC!
The PNC is continuing to receive PIFs from interested candidates & we are meeting each week to evaluate those candidates. The process continues to have candidates in all stages at all times. The PNC or candidate decide at some point whether or not the potential pastor should continue in the process. This cycle is ongoing until a new pastor is found.
Additional information containing details of the process the PNC is following can be found here.
The PNC would like to explain a little about the work we have been doing and provide everyone with a better understanding about the process. The process is always ongoing and we usually have applicants in all stages of the process at all times. The PNC reviews resumes, listens to and watches sermons, votes on moving candidates forward to the interview phase and from there the interview can progress to a second and or even third interview (interviews being conducted via Skype). When appropriate candidates are invited to meet in person and tour our facilities.
Once a candidate meets the PNC in person the next step is an interview with members of our presbytery.
